Gear Up

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ~Ephesians 6:11-12

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. ~Psalm 23:5

It is time to gear up with Yahweh’s armor, beloved brothers and sisters. The future of our children and grandchildren is at hand. If you are not aware of the battle that is looming ahead of us, you will be soon enough. Satan has been at work while he has been using culture to woo us to sleep.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago. ~Isaiah 51:9

For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me ~Psalm 18:39

We must not dawdle in comfort like the foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-13) because it seems like Yeshua might rapture us out of here before things get too bad. Many of our children are following the world and are not saved. There is much work to do and we are to occupy, to conduct His business (Matthew 25:11-26) until He returns whether it is today or a hundred years from now.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, ~Hebrews 10:24

Many good authors and bloggers have great articles and books about the armor of God so I will save more on this for my blog/Articles section. For now I want to suggest some practical action that you can take within your homes, churches, communities and nation. Many are already waking up to this.

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle; ~Psalm 144:1

You Are A Warrior

But this beautiful treasure is contained in us—cracked pots made of earth and clay—so that the transcendent character of this power will be clearly seen as coming from God and not from us. We are cracked and chipped from our afflictions on all sides, but we are not crushed by them. We are bewildered at times, but we do not give in to despair. We are persecuted, but we have not been abandoned. We have been knocked down, but we are not destroyed. ~2 Corinthians 4:7-9

No matter where you are, nor what you have been through, Yahweh wants you to be a part of His great plan. You might feel like a cracked pot but, that is how His light shines through, dear one.

Life is a school and if we are wise we can learn much together. We will be exploring scriptures, inspiring stories, and other information that will help you not only discover your God given gifts and abilities, but also how to effectively use them strategically to overcome the enemy who has invaded your territory, your family, your home, your church, your community, your nation.

If you recognize what is taking place in our culture, you are not asleep. Souls are at stake, families are at stake, lives are at stake. There are many things that believers can do to fight this battle, but the most important thing we can do is to pray and most likely you already are doing that, but here is a step to the next level.

Do not be afraid! I do not know if this is written exactly 365 times in scripture, but it is enough to pay attention to. It is time to get up off the pews, off your couches, get outside of your church buildings and homes and go out in groups into your community (Matthew 5:16) to pray (1 Timothy 2:1-2) over town squares, schools, churches, farms, businesses, courthouses and law enforcement. If you are on vacation, pray over the people and places you visit. Satan has taken enough ground through corruption in these places and it is time to take them back (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14), bring your Bibles and pray scripture (the Psalms are always appropriate), sing praises to Yahweh, play music (Psalm 150:4), blow the shofar (Psalm 98:6), target your prayers using current as well as historical knowledge and information, pray for individuals (Hebrews 13:22) that strike up conversations, bring snacks and have fun doing it. It does not need to be a big organized event and it does not matter if anyone sees you or not, if only a few individuals (Matthew 18:20) are willing, GO! GO regularly!

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns! ~1 Chronicles 16:31
