In general, most people would say that they desire a supernatural experience and many have had them, but not all of these experiences are from God. Basically, witchcraft is the manipulation of people and spirits for purposes which are outside the will of our Creator Yahweh. Oftentimes the participant encounters are sensual as well as sexual in nature and involve oppression of vulnerable people as well as animals, but often, witchcraft manifests through seemingly regular cultural experiences.
Ultimately there are only two sources of supernatural power, that of Yahweh, The Creator and that of Satan who opposes Him. The word is, rebellion. You will see, witchcraft is much more complex than just a few kids playing with a Ouija board and a seance. It is ancient, it is dark with a false light side and it is very much in play today.
The prophet Samuel told King Saul, “For rebellion is as the sin of divination (witchcraft), and presumption (arrogance) is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being king (of Israel).” ~1 Samuel 15:23
Atheism? Not
To be sure, witchcraft is not atheism which is supposedly disbelief in God. However, atheism as a response to witchcraft is really just a form of rebellion. Witchcraft is the use of knowledge and power with the thought that one knows better than God about what is good for one’s self and also for humanity as a whole. I would also say that even atheism falls into this category, the difference being that people call themselves “atheist” to somehow escape accountability and judgment, but their willful ignorance is sin and will be judged along with the rest (Romans 1:18-25). Understand this though, witches are fully aware of Whom they are up against. They believe their power is greater and that they can win.

Bread And Circuses – Most people would not intentionally choose the way of Satan if they recognized it as such. So deception has always been a tool of Satan for the purpose of leading as many astray from the will of God as possible. Distraction through media, arts and entertainment, often called “bread and circuses,” have been used throughout history to steer people away from God, at least towards ones self centered interests. This does not mean that these things are themselves necessarily evil, but that the intent is evident and awareness is necessary for followers of Yeshua, to avoid obsession.

Sensuality – The perversion of sexual intimacy outside of the protective confines of the Biblical marriage is something that has become a taboo subject for correction. Sexual seduction seems to be, by far the most obvious form of manipulation. Yet it is so attractive that the dangers are mostly ignored. The Pagan prophet, Balaam’s failed attempts to curse the children of Israel in the desert led to the use of seduction by their enemies (Numbers 22, 25:1-9). This tactic is still common and tragically often successful.
Any bit of research into witches wands will show that they are made specifically from holly wood. It should be evident that this is no coincidence, especially considering that much of the success in the industry results from the “casting” couch.

Pharmakeia – Medicine can be used for good as well as evil purposes, so I am not bashing modern medicine. We think of general good health and well being as something to strive for, and God wants that for us also. He has provided animals, grains and fruit for food and leaves for healing (Genesis 1:29-31, 9:3, Ezekiel 47:12). The Hebrew word for peace, Shalom, includes this quality. You (Yahweh) cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man’s heart. ~Psalm 104:14-15
Medicine is a worthy profession and there are many good people in it who genuinely care about the well being of those who seek their care. The Gospel writer named Luke was himself a beloved physician (Colossians 4:14). There are also many beneficial modern medicines in use. We must always remember though, that the Great Physician is the ultimate healer and pursuit of good health should always be approached through prayer and faith in Him.
It is no coincidence that drug dealers are called pushers. Treatments and medicines should never be pushed onto individuals nor onto populations. Like everything else, the use of medicine can be perverted and misused. God never intended for people to be so dependent on medications and alcohol, legal or illegal. Medical “expertise” should never be put on such a pedestal, such that people cannot get other opinions or choose their preferred solutions. When reasonable and inexpensive treatments are hidden from the public and minimized by healthcare professionals and the media and they are not allowed to be questioned, trust is broken as it should be.
Lately we are being pushed to believe that if we use the environment God created for us to live in abundantly, that we are being selfish and even harmful to the environment. This is the same force which believes that the world is too populous and has great need for their own advised adjustment to the “problem”. If we believe that God, Who told His people to be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth, failed in the attempt to provide abundance for all humanity on the earth, then we are not His people.
Foods have also been genetically modified, manipulated with pesticides and chemicals and processed, and we are so accustomed to it that we do not even notice that it is making us sick and in “need” of medications to correct our issues, and more meds to correct the side effects of other meds. We are told that the problem is due to environmental issues, yet this industry reaps billions of dollars annually, which leads me to conclude that they do not intend for us to be well and healthy and are making every effort to further the purposeful plans to reduce the global population. Every drug dealer knows that they cannot make billions of dollars off of healthy balanced minded people.

UnFamily – The belittlement and breakdown of the Biblical family has been a disaster for our world. Even though Satan has used society to corrupt this institution in many ways, Yahweh designed the perfect family – a husband, a wife and children, for the procreation and protection of children to populate the earth and secure future generations (Genesis 1:22, 28, 8:17, 9:1,7, Psalm 127:3-5…). They are to be brought up in the knowledge and the ways of Yahweh. Living in this manner is a choice that should be protected by society, but instead is being attacked and labeled as even harmful and destructive. Satan wants the future for himself and will take and destroy the children if he can get away with it.

Lack of Prayer – The lukewarm attitude toward prayer has also caused much harm for our nations and for our children. If believers do not understand by now that we are in a spiritual battle for ourselves and for humanity, then they should probably question whether or not they have truly received salvation for their very own souls. Satan does not want people to pray to Yahweh The Creator, nor for us to recognize His One and Only Son, Yeshua, who was sacrificed on our behalf so that we can escape eternal judgment in hell along with Satan and his minions. Nothing inhibits Satan’s plans like prayer does. NOTHING! Prayer is necessary for our survival as well as the survival of our children. Put on your armor every day (Ephesians 6:10-20).

Narcissism – is a technique to manipulate individuals as well as targeted groups of people. Those charismatic people and groups of people perpetrating it seem to be well meaning pillars of society who are so skilled in the art of deception that they even have themselves convinced of their piety as well as the guilt of everyone else. Their goals are centered around themselves, keeping their plots covered and disguised. They use tactics of isolation, fear, name calling, and shame for those who have decided to think for themselves and no longer play the games.

Social Compartmentalization – is the separation of people and/or groups of people who are generally well intended, who may be somewhat aware of a common goal but are solely focused on their individual part. There will usually be a known plan that sounds like it is for the “greater good” of humanity, but could likely cause harm to many people in the end. On a small scale it can work within families and communities, even churches, and on a large scale within organizations, corporations and nations. People are easily convinced that their small part is good and harmless and are not likely to interrupt the process nor are they likely to discover the results of their own work. Satan is crafty and organized.

Persecution – When narcissism and compartmentalization do not work on everyone, and certain groups of people are not playing along with the plan, then they are isolated and portrayed as the evil minded schemers who are the cause of all of the trouble in the world. This is how open persecution and eventually genocide is possible.

Rituals And Blood Sacrifice – Although most people who identify as Satan worshippers have no idea what real Satanists do, there is a hidden underground society who do consult the dead, tell fortunes and interpret omens to manipulate events and outcomes, small and great. They fully worship Satan, yet to the outside world they seem to be normal, well adjusted people. They perform perverted sexual rituals and take the lives of innocent people, usually children. The cruelty and the blood give spiritual power to their evil schemes. They have even manipulated society to believe that aborting babies is beneficial, but it is truly useful to the plans of Satan, as well, meaning that people are unknowingly sacrificing usually their first born child.
“When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord.” ~Deuteronomy 18:9-12
War and genocide are also used to spill large amounts of blood with the goal of reaching Satan’s final battle on the earth. He actually believes and has others convinced that he is the good god and that he can win. NOT SO!!! (Revelation 20:7-15) YAH WINS!!!

Keep Up The Good Fight
This is the spiritual war that we as followers of Yeshua are fighting and we must not give the enemies of Yahweh an inch. A clean heart and a right spirit in us as well as diligent prayer warfare is necessary to keep our armor strong.
Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep (recognize your human inadequacy). Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
